1974 Cadillac Deville Coupe - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... (craigslist.org)
Seller's Description:

Low miles, very clean, coupe Deville. Bought for my wife she does not like it, for sale or possible trade for a smaller vintage car of x equal value. Very clean driver but not a trailer queen. One re-paint, underneath very clean. Engine compartment very clean. Some rust under vinyl top. Straight body, clean interior. Power seat motor clicks but does not move seat. Needs attention. Both windows go up and down but drivers stops 1/2 inch short of full close. Sounds like gear needs replaced. Window does go up and down. Power antenna needs some attention, clicks went down does not come back up. Just trying to be honest with minor repairs. Nice clean driver quality car that can be enjoyed now. Newer tires, brakes and exhaust. Rare color combination, Apollo Yellow with Terra Cotta top and interior. All in all very nice solid car. 427 V-8

I like this Callackallac. Appears to be an honest car.

I kinda understand where the lady is coming from. My Mama drove big Chevrolets and Oldsmobiles for decades. After my dad died she traded her 1984 Ninety Eight in on a Dodge Aries K-car, in yellow similar to this Cadillac.

It kinda stunned me. I said Mama, what have you done here? She retorted that if it hadn't been for my dad she'd have had something like the K 20 years earlier.

Go Mama.

427 V8? I guess he means 472. Must be a two-finger typist like me.

It’s got some power accessory issues (rarely “easy fixes”), rust under the vinyl top, and colors not to everyone’s taste.

It cleaned up pretty well, but I hope he’s got some flexibility on price.

After owning an antique car for several years, I have discovered that "easy fixes" really aren't.
